The ABIEBR is the result as enormous amount of work and dedication. In total over the course of the last 5 years we have reviewed over 25,000 titles and 5,000 abstracts for more careful assessment. 304 articles were carefully analyzed and summarized for the first edition of the ERABI. For the fifth edition of ERABI we reviewed and have included a total of 651 articles.

Of the 651 articles, 94 were Level 1 RCTs, 90 were Level 2 RCTs, 467 studies were non-RCTs. Although 28.3% of the articles chosen for this review were RCTs, due to this limited number, levels of evidence were generally lacking. However, it is a start, and points to the fact that much more research need to be done.

This project was a true joint effort and many individuals participated and are acknowledged in the following pages. Please feel free to browse and use these modules, as seen fit, without alteration.
